Our founder, Nyasha, knows first-hand what it’s like to search endlessly for wigs that look natural, feel luxurious, and truly reflect who you are. As a young Black professional navigating work, life, and womanhood, she was constantly let down by options that didn’t honor her texture, lifestyle, or truth.

She didn’t want to just blend in. She wanted to stand tall, to move through boardrooms, brunches, and everything in between feeling powerful and proud. So she created what she couldn’t find.

Aurea means “golden” and that’s what we believe every woman carries within her: a golden light. A brilliance. A story worth celebrating.
